D|T|A Colorado Vendor Passport

What is the Vendor Passport by DOWN | THE | AISLE Colorado?  The The Vendor Passport is a booklet with reserved spaces inside for wedding vendors and venues within Colorados’ Western Slope and Rocky Mountain Range.  Designed to encourage planning couples to meet face to face in a private scheduled consultation, rather than acquiring contact solely on email and phone correspondence.  We feel that our talented vendors and beautiful venues better showcase their services and products in a personal one on one consultation.

Who are the Vendors and Venues inside of the D|T|A Vendor Passport?  These spaces are reserved for D|T|A Event Vendors and for Advertising Vendors in the current edition of the D|T|A published magazine. In the 2020-2021 Passport, we have also collaborated with Hitched in CO, to provide 2020 Bridal Experience Show Vendors with an 8’x8’ show space or larger, a space in the 2020-2021 D|T|A Vendor Passport.

What is the deadline and requirements for space in the Passport?  As a D|T|A 2020 Vendor and a Hitched in CO Vendor that meet the requirements of above.  Vendors need only to submit a png of their logo, and one form of contact information (such as email, phone number, website or social media) by August 1, 2020.  In order to do this please be sure you have paid your deposit towards D|T|A or Hitched in CO.

When will the Passport print and be ready for distribution?  Vendors Passports are ready for distribution September 1st.  These passports are available through D|T|A if couples wish to pick one up.  They will also be available for distribution starting at the October 11th D|T|A Consultation + Tasting Event in Montrose, Hitched in CO Bridal Experience November 14th, and the D|T|A Consultation + Tasting Event in Palisade on November 21st + 22nd.

When do Passport Vendors Stamp/Mark a couples passport? Stamping or signing off your space in the passport should only take place following a private, one on one consultation.  A time that allows you to meet with, discuss their vision and your role in that vision, provide estimates or a quote, Scheduling a follow up if needed.  This is to provide vendors the opportunity to showcase themselves. Passports should not be signed off if simply in passing.

What do Couples get for using the Vendor Passport?  When a Passport holder has filled up a minimum of 12 spaces, they can turn in their passport for entry into the D|T|A Getaway Giveaway drawing at the 2021 DOWN | THE | AISLE Magazine Release + Mingle Event in January 2021.

What do Vendors do to Verify that they have met with a passport holder?  The back of each Passport is a QR code that identifies each passport to the Bride/Groom that is it given to.  We ask that once you stamp or sign your space on the passport page, you scan the QR code. Scanning the code sends us a note that you have met with that passport holder.  We do verify that the numbers that send us QR codes are vendors in the passport.
