Wedding Entertainment is Key

They say that any wedding with “down” time can bore your guests…

…and have people wondering when you’re going to just cut the darn cake so they can leave!

Our DJ was awesome, and kept us on point the entire time, keeping things moving pretty quickly.  He was the one whispering that it was time to move onto the next table and to report straight to the food and directly back to our table-without any stops for congrats or hugs.  He kept control of the mic when it came time for toasts so that some rogue guest didn’t decide to give a drunken speech that would either last way too long, or be entirely inappropriate!  As soon as we finished the traditional dances, our DJ told us to stay on the dance floor and get moving! He played a fun, popular song right away and told us that it would set the tone for the remainder of the night-which it did!

They say that 80% of your wedding guests will remember the entertainment portion of a wedding, yet couples planning their event tend to put the least amount of effort and/or funds into this.  For us, the DJ was the key ingredient to a great time!  It was money well spent and our guests raved about the music, as well as the general mood of the night.  When it’s all said and done, your guests will just remember if they had a good time or not.

As the bride and groom, all the minor details you spent time on go out the window, and it comes down to whether you were able to enjoy the day you spent months (or years) planning.
