We love a good Colorado Engagement Photo Session! We especially love it when the couple is from a completely different state and make the trip to Colorado just to take pictures! Jennifer and Tyler are planning a 2024 wedding in Estes Park, CO but currently live in Michigan. They traveled to Boulder, CO to take some amazing top-of-the-world engagement photos at the Lost Gulch Overlook. These photos do not disappoint.
Colorado offers so many amazing backdrops for photos. Mountains, forests, and lakes are just some of the spectacular scenes you can find. Every season offers something special as well…winter, spring, summer, and fall are all fantastic photo opportunities for couples and photographers alike.
You couldn’t have asked for a better day to take photos. The sunset made this shoot more than a success. You can see the love and fun the couple was having during their engagement session.
A Note From the Photographer
When I met Jennifer and Tyler for their engagement photo session they told me that there was something so special about the Colorado mountains that spoke to them. They both felt so drawn to Colorado that they wanted to do their engagement session in a state that meant so much to them! They both had such a fun and light-hearted kind of love which made this session so incredibly fun to photograph. We photographed well into the evening and simply lost track of time. It was the most perfect early winter session with a STUNNING sunset that lit up the sky!
